Does G-d ever speak to you?

He doesn't speak to me in words but if I'm wondering about something with a genuine interest, all I have to do is say, "show me" and I get bombarded with all sorts of experiences, opportunities and examples to explore. But I'm an explorer. Meaning I don't have questions.

I don't know how one would get an answer to a specific question that one would be able to understand because beliefs and reality don't really play well together. Meaning a real answer might not look like an answer which is not a good thing because, apparently, once you ask, you just keep getting hit upside the head and kicked in the teeth with answers until you get it so, if you're not into exploration...might not be a good idea.

In other words, if you've already asked and have genuine interest, then you're probably already getting answers that you're dismissing because the reality of the answer conflicts with something you believe.

I've done that. And it wasn't pretty. It was awesome - but not until after the fact. Prior to that, I didn't realize I was getting answers which caused me to ignore them. If you want my advice, don't do that. I repeat - it wasn't pretty. If you've asked, then pay attention. i.e. don't dismiss something just because it conflicts with a belief because it's not going to "go away". It was as if somebody was repeatedly tapping me on the shoulder, trying to tell me something, and I was repeatedly pushing them away until they finally just knocked me on my ass and beat the ever-loving shit out of me.
