this is such a common take, but I think it is so completely untrue. There has never been clear and undeniable footage, so how could you say it would be dismissed as CGI? That’s because all of the ‘clear’ stuff has been CGI so far. I’m excluding the radar footage that’s been released, because while I don’t think that’s CGI, it’s not clear as day either. I’m of the opinion that clear, HD, close up footage of something like this would not be dismissed as CGI by many. Please give us an example of footage that is clear and has been written off as fake, I guarantee you it’s because it’s actually fake. I think that so many people here are just unable to distinguish CG easily, so they assume no one else can. It’s honestly not hard to filter out the fakes, as someone who has worked in video/film for several years. There are always telltale signs.
