Does this image tell the truth?

I'm 31 and I thought that would be the case. I blamed the younger players for how easy the games became, how childish and weird the Pokémon designs became, how handholdy the entire experience was. For 20 years I told myself that when you assholes grew up the franchise would get better again. But, you know what? I have 2 sons now who both love Pokémon. And the other genwunners are reproducing. There are going to be shit tons of children buying into this franchise going forward - more adults falling off, and it's never going to get better. It's only going to get worse. Abandon all hope, that's what 20 years of Pokémon has taught me.

And you know what? I still blame you guys. Everyone who came in and liked those shitty baby designs, who didn't enjoy the grind, who didn't want to battle, but wanted to do weird ass costume parties with your Pokémon. The ones who didn't get upset about how terrible the world designs were, or loved the mega-evolutions and z-moves and other all out gimmicks. This is your fault.

Back in my day "grinding" with your Pokémon was called training them. You're a trainer. But they removed that so you could feel better about yourself. Shit, last Gen they removed gyms. GYMS. And now these spoiled soft-ass trainers grow up, hit 18 or their early 20s, and want something a little more difficult - something that can be taken a little more seriously? No. You don't get that. You ruined the franchise for the genwunners and now the next Gen is ruining it for you. It's the circle of life.
