There’s so much to unpack here. I fully admit I am totally culturally ignorant but I am just now picking up on how much I don’t know. Pasta with sausage???? Is that based on a real, less disgusting dish? And baked beans for breakfast???
(In the US) we’ll eat baked beans with barbecue or burgers, with dinner. Also canned black/pinto beans (not sweet like baked beans) are pretty common ingredients in stuff. Not a poor person food necessarily, but not pricy either. There is canned pasta (chef boyardee) that’s meant for kids, but it all vaguely resembles Italian food. I’m still reeling from the pasta with sausage link you posted. Where does it come from?
