Does love at first sight exist?

You know, the dominant function for INTJs is intuition, not thinking (that would be intp). So it’s not particularly surprising.

As a fellow INTJ, all my relationships have started with the big thunderclaps like you describe. I pretty much knew from the start of meeting someone if I was interested, or if I was 100% not.

But I also wouldn’t go so far as to call that feeling “love”, which you can only really feel for someone you know well. Call it infatuation. Call it good vibes. Call it spark. But it ain’t “love”.

The proof of the pudding is that you’re still defining the relarionship in somewhat selfish terms (not a judgement, it’s healthy early in a relationship). You like her because she makes you feel good.

And just because the feeling is “real” doesn’t mean that it’s going to work out forever or anything either. But sure, sparks flying is definitely something that exists, in that it is a common experience.
