Does making your trip public for everyone to see help?

Couchsurfing is now 14 years old and 4 or 5 million members stayed in touch on Facebook or email because they became friends ,so if you post on your Facebook timeline "does anybody know somebody in the city where i can stay a few days" ,its possible you stay in my private room city center,no limited messages and no verification or references or ID needed, just friends who visit each other,so who are the new hosts in my city that will answer your public trip? 4 active just arrived immigrants who prefer to host blond girls from Norway, and one gay guy who lives half hour from the city center and heard about the growing nudist CS community, the others are hosting on Airbnb in the weekends and travel on couchsurfing in the summer or winter holiday.
