You're not finding a friend lol. You are not going to live with your friend. So, compatibility and stuff doesn't matter. With marriage it does. Also the people who find their 'soulmate' in two weeks? Ha ha. I wouldn't call that soulmate lol

You're not buying a product for it to have 'guarantee'. It's a living, breathing person we are talking about here. People can change their minds. Both of you may discover that maybe you are not a good fit for each other like you thought before.

AM if you're married then you have to make it work as marriage has more weight than just a relationship.

In marriage you are also very very screwed if you are not a good fit for each other. And often in a patriarchal society like this, it's often the woman who bears the brunt of whatever happens after a marriage goes wrong. You 'have to make it work' is a very terrible state to live in. Most of our older generation married couples barely show any affection to each other and basically live like room mates. If that seems like a very romantic idea to you, go ahead.
