It does not logically follow that god created everything because we create things.

When we create a chair on a physical level is is just particles of wood rearranged in a different manner. However we have created a new purpose, art, or essence of those particles. The final “cause” for our bosoms to be placed on it. That is a human purpose attributed to the chair outside of its physical form.

When we think of “cause” we think have matter being arranged to create other matter in some form of succession to which you can say ok things are just eternal there was always matter, not need to place a “God” as a first cause.

It is a misconception that theists believe in a “timeline” cause and effect relationship. Our causes derive from Aristotelian philosophy. A lot of people think we are just concerned with physical matter and how it moves other physical matter. We contemplate why there exists purpose in things that is observable at all. Down to the stochastic process in quantum mechanics.

We are never on the side to contradict discoverable laws of the universe and matter. We are there to contemplate how it seems there is a “final” cause in everything we can physically observe.
