Does “once saved always saved” apply to apostates?

False christians wouldn’t qualify as being saved. True faith with repentance would guarantee salvation. If they stray, god will chastise and discipline and bring them back. No one can take anyone out of the Lords hands as mentioned in scripture.

Instead of viewing OSAS as false, view the person’s faith as real or fake. Saying you believe in Jesus doesn’t guarantee salvation as demons believe in him too. You have to actively pursue and seek him to find him. A humble heart that seeks will find him. Most people are just cultural christians nowadays. There’s a key difference I’ve noticed of christians who severely struggle with a particular sin and want to break free but keep failing. Vs many who say I believe so I can do what I want basically trying to say grace is cheap. It really comes down to someone’s heart condition which only the Lord can see
