The guy who claimed to be so in love with me and asked me to move with him to a new city because he'd gotten a new job in that city and had always wanted to be there.

I was so excited! We just needed to work out the details, right? Here were his expectations:

1. I should quit my job immediately and move with him with no job lined up
2. He would not help me out financially at all. .I would pay half the rent/utilities/food out of my savings.
3. Changed his mind and decided that it would be better if I got my own place so I could "test the city out" before deciding if I liked it. Of course this would be with no job and purely out of my savings.
4. Discussions of marriage were off the table because he's "not ready for that conversation yet".

So yeah, after 2 years of dating, he expected me to quit my job, leave all my friends, and use my savings to move to a new city with him with zero discussion of the future. Oh, and he also wanted to make it clear that, despite the fact that the only reason I considered that city is because of him, I wasn't supposed to move there "for him". I should move there only because I love the city.

So HE was ready for ME to drop my life and my friends and spend a fuckton of money to be with him, but it is waaaaay too early for him to discuss a future with me.

Needless to say he became an ex without me ever moving to that city. Some people's selfishness is just incredible.
