Why does sexual assault to boys get invalidated?

I’m an adult who stumbled in here, but as a feminist who preaches equality I’m fairly outspoken about my belief that male victims of sexual assault need to be taken seriously. In addition male mental health needs to be taken seriously, and men need to stop being shamed for being human and having human emotions among many other things. Sexism reduces people to their stereotypes and it hurts all of us. Maybe it’s because the feminists you know are very young but there are a lot of us out here who want changes that will benefit all genders. Every sexist stereotype cuts both ways, and the results can be deadly (ex: transwomen being killed, domestic violence, male suicide rate, etc).
