Does Taoism impact other aspects of your life outside of your view and attitude on life?

Daily meditations in the Tao help me to accept my bipolar moods without submitting to them. Manic moods tend to perpetuate and accelerate behaviors and beliefs in the extreme; the Tao helps me keep to the path.

I also no longer see it as my duty to "correct" political, societal misgivings ("What is a bad man but a job for the good?") and now engage with a lot more empathy (or at least try to).

But in terms of outward, noticeable changes, I tend to agree with u/BongunMaster.

I'm new to the Tao but thought I'd share some of the benefits I have noticed so far :)

These are the two I'm focused the most on right now, but I think that one of the many super cool aspects of the Tao is that it gives you what you need. So whatever the Tao inspires you to transform within yourself, you should go with it!

I think the cool part of having an unspoken master is an adherence to the wisdom behind the passages, not to an overly complex doctrine telling you how things need to be done.

Good luck with your journeys, friend, and I hope my addition was helpful :)
