One night at like 2-3am just after the peak of our trip a mate and I go for a massive walk wandering through some random farms/down some dirt roads trying to find one of his relatives houses. We had a random dog follow us the whole way for the adventure. Sun started coming up, we were a bit lost and got picked up by a farmer who let us jump on the back of his ute and drove us to the house. Made it back into town around 8am and saw the local pub in our little village had unusually opened up on a Sunday morning and a whole bunch of people had rocked up all dressed up and a cameraman had his big professional set up filming the front of the place. So we go check it out and the bartender tells us they're filming an ad and offers us free drinks if we want to be in it. So we ended up being extras in this ad and got a few free drinks, having a chat with some of the locals while still coming down from this trip. Was a pretty great little adventure.
