Doesn't Symmetra (theoretically) have a kit that helps combat a lot of the problems people have with the meta right now?

She's similar to Doomfist in that people just don't know how to use her well right now, but whereas with Doomfist it's all mechanical skill, with Symm it's all gamesense---because tele takes time to set up, you have to know when to set it up before stuff happens. You can't just react with it. Same goes for her left click (ramping it up in the poking phase) and her ult, although both to a lesser extent.

The problem with her is the same she's always had: do you put her in as a support, or as a DPS? Do the former and your team might not have enough healing, do the latter and your team might not have enough damage. Run Moira/Zen as your healer duo, and that issue is remedied. The healing output is great, and the damage output makes up for Symm's relative lack of damage. Their main problem is their lack of movement, especially vertically, but TP helps that.

As for tank duos... the temptation is to run Orisa/something (Hog if he wasn't bad), since the whole idea is to make immobile comps mobile, but I think a more interesting idea is Winston/D.Va. They're highly mobile, but the preference is to initiate the fight from a staging position and then use that movement to escape. Use the TP to get to that staging position and you don't have to wait for cooldowns before engaging, and your healers can be close by but safe. Basically the idea becomes making a mobile composition even more mobile
