Dog sniffs out owner’s cancer, not once, but three times

Anecdotal evidence, but my mother passed from cancer in 2008. She went through 6 years of new, 'cutting-edge' experimental treatments that she qualified for (because of her exact diagnosis and physical fitness and a range of other things that 16-year-old me never fully understand). Anyways, all of these treatments were meant to approach cancer treatment in a less harmful way. Currently, its a pretty well known fact that modern chemotherapy treatment is akin to firebombing the entire forest just to take out one rotten tree. Her treatment involved inserting localized capsules that allowed for targed radiation treatment, but most commonly used techniques today just flush the whole body with DNA-altering chemicals.
