DOGECOIN DAILY DISCUSSION - 31st July.

Do Only Good Everyday.

What it took for me to get a wallet and familiar with crypto. I won’t count certain platforms as my introduction or crash course on crypto, even though I have most of DOGE on RH. I was using that other app, which I’ve since deleted my account. But it was Christmas and my car had been repossessed, injured from a car accident that occurred before lockdowns began and I really needed a burrito. The only thing to do was trade crypto and as you may remember, BTC hit 61,000! I got my car out and I ate burritos. Let’s face it though, I may never own a full BitCoin and I could feel rich in DOGEs.

Although, my man contention with RH is from there I lost about $800, due to them processing my trades out of order or not what the limit was set to. If you remember how things went up and back down, trades were halted - they may as well have been slapping me back down every time I thought I had secured earnings. Even that, wasn’t enough to push me to get into crypto on an actual user or holder level.

Somebody on here tipped me through sodogetip just for sharing ‘have a good day’ and it wasn’t hard for me to get into another platform/exchange from there. CB also had a lot of free crypto to handout, including the $5 BTC incentive. So, just by learning how to accept the doge tip - I was up $35. Which today is even more and I’m earning interest on it. And it’s successfully led my horse to water; I’ve actually got crypto in the Gemini earnings, as well as what’s sitting comfortably with CoinBase. It’s a viable path to savings for large expenses and reasonable purchases for enjoyment.

From here, I feel pretty comfortable wanting to send it to others as rewards/tips or accepting as payment if I am able to make some crafts. I really hope they iron out the taxes to, idk, less than normal sales tax so people are incentivized to use this - as it is more secure than the meltdown banks are having with,… well, let’s not explain that in detail. But big banks spend a lot of money to operate and it’s not ideal. My next goal is to ask some graphic designers in the community to try and put together something of an inspirational and information flyer with accurate options for business owners to research as crypto payment acceptance. If I had my say, we’d try to standardize the merchant experience to phone apps, menus and wallet address contacts for merchants. So, you could just shop on your phone and streamline payment / pickup - thinking also about shaping commerce into a more concise and polite exchange. There are health impacts of the 3-5 minute conversation and cash exchange interactions, this pandemic really outlines the need to keep curb that. I think this is the way!
