Unfortunately these iPads these food delivery apps give to the restaurants are strictly for their program only. Another thing I thought about was adding a dashboard for merchants on the official app with push notifications as well, but I don’t know how reliable that would be.

One of the restaurant owners I pitched loved the idea and wants to partner, but i realized due to her age she’s not very technical and relies on the iPads from other deliver apps a lot. Seems like just using a dashboard would cause problems with merchants like these as it adds more steps she has to go through while also managing the kitchen.

I’m kind of looking for the community to see how startup delivery apps approached this problem. I feel I have enough restaurants ready to sign up, but getting them the order simple and easy to manage is a costly factor. Unless I’m not looking in the right area.
