I checked out the guitar playing, while you're singing video. Watched it all. I've got some good tower speakers with 4 drivers each. Couldn't really hear the words distinctly of what you were saying. Are you recording this with just one mic while playing? Should add the lyrics in the description.
When I first started listening, shut it off about a minute in. Was getting on my nerves when it started speeding up on top of it. haha. These guys that play guitar like that can get a little annoying. haha.
Was reading comments here and went back to check it out again and made it all the way thru. It was a bit of a chore while forcing yourself to sit thru irritating noise. So you put some time into the drawings and stuff eh. That's more than usual people do.
In the suggestions on the right hand side looked like a bunch of cam videos. Checking the list page of your other material, looks like a whole bunch of material. I've seen this before, guys who do that. Usually they'll have like tons of clips with just a still album cover image. Way too much content to sift thru. Meanwhile pick any of it and not much craftsmanship put into it. They have tons and tons of stuff, meanwhile all of it is marginal. lol. When is someone more successful with their music, it's usually when they put time into it and it's not something which is rushed out live in 10 minutes.
Haven't played any of the other clips but I'm assuming it'd be similar. At least this one had some doodles, so that was better. That'll hold someone's interest more than without it.
The music though, I guess it's just typical chord changes, does nothing for me. Need something a little more stimulating. It's like the first 30sec 'll be like the rest. Not so much your fault but just kind of bored with typical song structure of chorus verse. It's not really your fault, you're just being like any typical guitar player, while singing.
A lot of these guys who do youtube videos of playing guitar while singing, they think their stuff "rocks" and it's "great". They're all into their own content and heard it a lot of times while putting it together. But somebody new checking it out, who isn't disillusioned, and aren't into it, the musician can get insulted and doesn't understand.
Sometimes you can notice that with your own material if you go back to old stuff which sat for years. Take a new listen and you may go, that sucked eh. haha. Sometimes you can go, stuff I'm making now doesn't have the imagination this old material did. It's like you're going down the hole and giving up these days compared to back then when you at least had fun. You can get frustrated about how the music hasn't got you out of the hole. Then you just become a bitter old man. Or, when you release tracks and nobody's interested. Then you become discouraged and quit creating. It's tough though because when you're making new stuff you can think it's great and can't comprehend how somebody new doesn't dig it like you. Gotta remember though you can't have everybody like music you make. It's like trying to have someone who's a fan of country music, enjoy rap. If you were to listen to their "opinion", you'd think it sucks.
However.. this stuff you're doing, where could it be improved. Maybe make a "song" out of it. Perhaps have two mics so you can make the vocals louder or something. Maybe do the vocals in a separate track so you don't hear the guitar in that mic. It just comes off as rushed product. Maybe I'm out of touch and it sounds fine over tinny "smart" phones these days.
Let's analyze the message. You're saying dolphins got it better than us because they don't have to work a job every day. Well, you're free to be like them. Go in the wilderness and try to live off the land. You won't have to work but good luck getting food. And then you can forget about getting money to buy fancy things like glasses to see, a car or a computer. A job is about getting money.
The way I see it, life is like a game and it's your fault if you're losing at it. It's your fault you can't figure out how to get rich. I like the challenge. It's like golf where it's me against the course. Can't blame anybody. Usually when people suck out and say the system sucks is because they can't figure out how to win at the game.
It's getting increasingly difficult as time goes on though. Look at the price of houses just in the past 30 years. That's unsustainable. What's it going to be like for people's grand-children. Can't get a job even if you have university. The system's broken.
Look at old people, what did they get paid back in the day. With inflation, any money they'd save wouldn't buy a whole hell of a lot these days. Well, same for you later, I guess.
Why does everything cost so much and why are all governments going bankrupt.. Well anything they have to buy, like heavy equipment to fix roads, they're getting ripped off by the middle-man. How come back in the 60's they built all the roads and these days they can't even fix one mile. What's the problem here. It's that middle-man making everything more expensive. If the government would build the equipment from scratch, mine for metal, create every component, it'd cost less.
There's still problems with union wages though. That's why things cost so much. These guys keep going on strike every few years. Enough already. Those wages aren't sustainable. You're bankrupting the government. They'd need to get paid minimum wage. Where else does the government waste your money. How about war. Sure, pay a billion for a plane. How's about we can't do it any more.
Then you wonder why your taxes are so high. The government creates the laws, meanwhile they should step in and say, no a house can't cost that much. Otherwise it bursts the system. But they don't and look at how everything's out of control.
Nothing gets manufactured in the States any more. Meanwhile in China it'd cost 2 bucks a day. How can you compete with that. Well, robots, that's how. No union wages. You can probably technically make it cheaper than them because they pay so much for shipping. Even then you can bet the government would screw that up by charging the company exorbitant amounts in taxes.
Governments don't manufacture things they use, and they get ripped off by the middle-man. Then your taxes go up. You need to bring everything back down and not deal with this escalated inflation. Look at countries like Zimbabwe or Venezuela where you buy a loaf of bread with a wheel barrow of cash. What the hell is up with that. Well, soon it'll be the States like that if you don't smarten up.
That's why you have to work so much. How about healthcare. Some countries pay for it. Well, why does it cost hundreds of thousands if you get hurt in the States and have to spend time in a hospital. More high wages for those guys. Pills cost so much, well how's about we can't do it, it's like the cost of war. You die at 60 instead of 80, already. Back like in the wild west. Otherwise, the government will go bankrupt.
Any government employee should get paid minimum wage. Somebody unemployed 'll do it if you'd give them free schooling. What's school, it's just reading books and you remembering it. Why's school cost so much. Is it the training equipment you need to do the job later. That'll cost, more being ripped off by the middle-man.
How about farmers who complain they can't make money, meanwhile tractors cost a million these days. How's about you go back to the horse and plow, like the Amish. You don't see them going bankrupt. Doesn't cost nothing. All food takes is water to grow and that's free. Animals eat that food. So why's it increasingly cost so much for groceries all the time. Well more government and taxes.
Why are taxes so high, because they're getting ripped off by the middle-man on any equipment they need. How many government offices are there, well how's about there's less of them. That'll cut costs.
You can't fix the system because there's only 2 parties and both are the same. A 3rd party could do it but you're still trying to fix things with a broken system of laws which can't be changed.
Might be able to fix some of these problems if you'd create a new country, up north, buy part or Russia or something. Make your own laws. Would be simple laws, not books thick like the yellow pages in mumbo jumbo normal people can't understand. That's like damn tax laws. Simplify this stuff.
Don't use other countries currency so you're not susceptible to it's fluctuations. Don't be a part of that broken system. Be self sufficient so you never have to deal with other countries problems. Any time you have to buy goods from them it's like a middle-man jacking up the price. You need rubber, make greenhouses and grow what they do there. What's a building, metal and cement. Mine for that. Even wood, that's damn trees which are free. Houses shouldn't cost that much.
If you can't do this crap in your own country, you do it off planet or in space on a big space ship. haha. Get away from them. Be like in sci-fi movies.
Robots though are going to be changing things. Nobody 'll have a job anymore. Whatcha gonna do then. In the meantime, you want to be the guy who owns those companies. Be that company the government buys crap from. If they're that stupid, use things to your advantage instead of whining about it all.
How do you get there.. from the bottom. Eventually you can get there and compete with them and fix their inadequacies. Greed is their problem, so it'd be easy to beat them. They also treat the customer like dirt. On and on.. Easy to beat them at their own game. You just gotta shut off your TV, video games and social networking and work on how you're going to get there instead.
Play the game by the rules of how it operates. Work around it's deficiencies and still figure out how to win. Then you have the power to fix the whole broken system.
