Here we go with the realtor bashing again. Everyone on this sub assumes that everyone is savy enough to do everything on their own. Try meeting, say boomers or new immigrants who don't know anything about the Canadian market and would rather have someone help them. Why don't boomers become tech savy like the rest of us? Why use a financial advisor when you can become a DIY investor? Why pay someone to change your car oil when you can watch a youtube video and do it on their own? Why go to an "accountant" when you can do your own taxes for free yourself? Answer is the same: not everyone is savy enough to learn, some don't even want to learn, there are also the issue of language barrier. People on this sub assume that every average joe knows everything.
