I don’t see any discussion in regards to South Korea coming out with a death rate of .6%, a place there is more widespread testing. Seems like US and others have high death rates due to low testing rates. I know this doesn’t play into the doom, gloom and buy my puts but think it’s worth knowing

Korean resident here.

A less than 1% mortality rate here should offer little consolation. Most of those were females in their 20's because of that cult. Korea is not a real barometer.

I am far more concerned about the lack of testing in countries like The US. I would say The US for example is a ticking time bomb in all this.

1% of say a few million at least is a lot. This virus is super contagious. The only reason that Korea is seeming like it is going to contain it now is because the authorities acted really quickly and hage taken drastic actions which a country the size of The US will struggle.

The movement of people stopped. There has been real time tracking of the virus and where people should avoid etc. Restaurants, movie theaters, hospitals closed completely for weeks.

Everybody is wearing a mask. Schools and daycares have stopped for a 3 weeks. Testing 10k per day.

I could go on.

From what I am seeing in the US- we are only beginning.
