I don’t know if I want to convert anymore. I don’t feel safe being Jewish right now.

First, ignore the dislikes. Maybe they question your commitment but you’re just being honest.

You’re not just converting religions, you’re joining a historically very persecuted ethnic group. What you’ve witnessed would give anyone pause. My opinion is this is nothing compared to what my European grandparents went through. It just pisses me off, and I’m not even religious. It’s my identity, as permanent as a skin color, so I don’t give a f** what morons think, and will stay in safer locations or migrate (as my forefathers have had to do over and over again) to wherever its safe. So yes, there may be additional baggage to live with, but that’s why converts like you should be honored.
