If you want a reply, comment something related to the pic that most represents their personality.

Specifically if there’s a dog picture in their profile and I made some silly joke about it I was pretty much guaranteed at least some response that would start a convo. Everybody loves dogs! And if you don’t love dogs, and a woman chooses a picture of herself with her dog you’re probably not a good match to begin with.

Currently taking a break from the apps, but I got responses from easily 75% of women who I messaged with a comment on a pic they had with their dog/fishing pole/baby yoda shirt/whatever…as long as it was something I was into also so I didn’t have to fake it. How the convo goes after that is what it is but they’re the best conversation starters.
