I don’t pay attention to Fox News, or any MSM stations or publications because I do not trust any of them to give objective information. The two examples; Fox and CNN, both are in it to push a certain narrative and agenda. They’ve completely ruined my trust in them.
With that being said...
To me that looks like Fox admitting that they made some mistakes and apologized for it.
It also looks like they’ll get rid of someone when they see that they’re spreading misinformation in bad faith. Like saying the virus is an impeachment hoax. It obviously isn’t.
When was the last time CNN did anything like that? If the person is willing to push the Orange Man Bad narrative, or that America is full of white supremacists. They can say or do anything they want with no repercussions. It doesn’t matter how far beyond the line it is.
I can give a couple of examples you are likely aware of:
The whole sh*t-show with the Covington catholic kids? The MSM, especially CNN, rallied together and tried to ruin those kids’ lives. It went on for weeks as I’m sure you’re aware. What did it accomplish? Turns out the Native dude... I forget his name, forgive me. Was lying about the entire encounter among other things. Did CNN ever apologize to those kids? Did they retract their articles about it? No. They had to be sued for slander. A lawsuit they lost, and had to pay the kids millions of dollars.
The “Hands up, don’t shoot” narrative with Trayvon Martin. That went on for a very long time. The narrative that even Obama helped push. Turns out they lied about that the details of the story to push a certain narrative and agenda. Trayvon attacked that police officer, who acted in self defense. But networks like CNN bent over backwards to ruin that man’s life. While telling everyone America is full of white supremacists, and that police officers are demons under the direct command of Satan himself. Something I’m sure many, many people still believe.
Did anyone lose their job over either of these instances? I’m pretty sure they didn’t. None of them apologized, or were held accountable in any way. Don Lemon still has his segment, for example.
It’s not just CNN either. Every single news network and publication does stuff like that. They won’t correct any of their mistakes or hold any of their members accountable for what they do. Poll after poll shows American’s trust in the media has never been lower. It’s because of this kind of crap.
I’m no fan of Fox News, but it seems to me they have at least some semblance of integrity left. I can’t say the same for any others. Hate Fox News all you want. It’s totally within your rights, but think about who you defend as well. The MSM is a total dumpster fire. Especially CNN.
