It's some of that inside information that's just straight-up embarrassing for everyone involved, like the Podesta emails (Clinton wanted Trump to win the nomination, knew she was weak against anyone else). I could actually see his soul die, it was awesome in a Hermann Cain award, "need a shot of insulin now" sort of way. "Dude, you're a fan of Reagan and Margaret Thatcher! Remember the 'special relationship?' It's being destroyed right now because this guy leaked! It's his job to sum people up, and he thinks Trump's a fucking -----!" I don't normally use that word - that ableist slur - but it's important to code switch with your audience.
