Donald Trump either lied under oath or during a debate

He lied* about giving money to Jeb Bush. In court he admitted to fundraising for the Bush administration:

In court, Trump said he held a fundraiser for Bush, who was campaigning to be Florida’s governor, in the late 1990s. The real estate mogul bragged that the swanky New York City event was “his most successful fundraiser.”

“You knew that Gov. Bush, Jeb Bush at that time, was opposed to expansion of gaming in Florida, didn't you?” a lawyer asked.

“I thought that he could be convinced otherwise,” Trump responded.

Whereas on the debate stage the exchange between he and Bush went like this:

“He wanted casino gambling in Florida,” Bush said.

"I didn’t … totally false,” he barked. “I promise, if I wanted it, I would have gotten it.”

*The implication is obviously that trump held that fundraiser for Jeb as a way of influencing him to change his views on casino gambling. The obvious out for Trump is to basically say that the fundraiser was disconnected from his efforts to sway Jeb's administration on casino gambling, but it stretches credulity a good bit.
