Donald Trump federal judge nominee is asked basic legal questions and can’t answer a single one

Utterly embarrassing. Motion in Limine and Daubert standard is taught in every evidence class in every law school by the second year, and abstention is game on every state bar exam and taught in first year civil procedure. Though abstention is a jurisdictionally important doctrine a fed that is important for fed Judges to know, anyone who has litigated frequently encounters the Daubert expert testimony standard and motion in limine (motion to exclude evidence).

This idiot should have withdrew himself from consideration knowing that he is entirely incompetent to be a federal district court judge. The fact he accepted this nomination and showed up to the hearing with absolutely no knowledge of the job he's supposed to do is grossly disrespectful to the federal bench and makes clear how pathetically unqualified this administration is to be wielding executive power.
