Yeah. But here's what I find most interesting about Trump's relationships and thought-process,
This is an interesting, if not contradictory, thought process. And Trump employs the same Trump-logic to his foreign policies, or at least Putin.
Trump has no love of Russia specifically, maybe he does, but he clearly has a deep, passionate love for Vladimir Putin. He admires the man. He giggles coyly when Putin tells him he's smart.
Donald says things along the lines of: Putin is so smart for expanding his borders. Putin is so smart for annexing oil reserves. Putin is so smart because he rules with an iron fist. I admire, respect, and honor that.
By the same token, Trump says Putin basically gets to do whatever he wants because the US has a "weak" leader and the US allows him to do this.
Essentially, Donald Trump has said Putin is a vicious dictator who has done little for the lives of his people, but all for the wealth of his businesses. Putin may be the richest man alive because of it.
Trump loudly proclaimed he would close the loopholes that Clinton (or "establishment" politicians) left open that allowed him to rob the United States.
Trump says Obama is weak and that Trump doesn't like him. Trump then says Putin is strong and Putin likes him. He blames Obama's weakness for Putin's strength, which he says is a negative but which he also "likes."
Clinton spoke pretty tough on Russia. Obama just slapped them with sanctions for espionage. What will Trump do? What makes a leader strong?
