There is a difference between rhetoric and action.

If this was junior high school, sure, that logic is appropriate. If this was an rally playing on emotion, again, stupid lines like "Jail. His. Ass" sell. No different than "Build. That. Wall." and "Lock. Her. Up.".

This is neither. In the real world decisions, for good or bad, have consequences. Democrats aren't ready for the consequences of doing what would have to be done to "Jail. His. Ass", and they certainly aren't ready for the level Republicans would take it to. It's simply not worth it. They barely made it through this idiot's Presidency and almost fell victim to an actual coup on American soil.

You arm an intelligent Narcissist with the ability to incarcerate political opponents, and precedent on it having been done, and this is a whole new world -- and for what? So that liberals have a feel good moment putting this orange idiot in prison where he'll do a few years in a rich, white guy hotel and come out a martyr? That trade seem worth it to you?
