Donations to the NRA tripled after the Parkland shooting

Why can't people separate an idea from the people holding it? Why do we have to control millions of people, and try the impossible task of getting them all not to say something food'll stupid, when all the opposition would have to do is read some Wikipedia entries? It's absolutely ridiculous to dismiss an idea because stupid people are among the large group that agrees with they idea. If anyone reading this comment does that I really want you to reflect on all the good ideas you've passed you because you heard it from the wrong person, and all the bad ideas you believe because you only heard stupid people saying it after you already believed it. Please, people and ideas are two separate things.

I kept the idea agnostic because it applies far beyond just gun control.
