lol. Are you serious? oookkkk. First of all there are 10 people at their "protest" and it has nothing to do with the HCC. Just 10 people and you call it an "accurate representation". lol ok whatever you say. :-) Do you always attribute the actions of a couple people to a larger group of strangers? Or do you just do that with people who drive bikes? Second, can you please tell us when the cycling community in Halifax last blocked off a street in protest? You seem to indicate that this is a regular occurrence so maybe some proof would be in order.

I'm sorry i think it's very funny how you think you know the motivations and apparently have met every cyclist in the city. But hey,..maybe you have and i don't know your personal experience but i find it hard to believe. And based on the cyclists at my office, my experience says something very different. I work at a research lab and there's about 15 scientists all with PhD's, most of whom make in the 100K area and who all bike to work. They bike because some are cheap and like to save money, some live very close to the lab and some like to be healthy. But am i going to take my personal experience of these cyclists and apply it to the entire cycling community in this city? No i am not. Why not? Because i'm an adult who understands logic. You're an adult as well and while i totally accept your feelings on bikes surely you understand that some of your statements are generalizations based on your limited data. I find it interesting because many of your posts in this group are good but for some reason you get all weird when the subject is bikes and start believing your sweeping generalizations. That's really a shame. Anyway, my life is too short to really care and i can't believe i typed this much. lol. Oh BTW,..those cyclists who are riding the bridge tonight are totally inconveniencing me tonight because i'll be driving my car over the bridge at the same time. Wait? What? A cyclist who also drives a car who's inconvenienced by cyclists driving over a bridge? :-)
