Dont buy into the myth that "Hip hop is dead" it's bullshit and here's the proof! The underground is alive and thriving.

I think they are separate discussions, because saying hip hop is dead sounds to me like you're saying that hip hop as a whole genre is not listened to as much anymore or not that popular anymore. Saying ''real'' hip hop doesn't exist anymore is different, because simply ''real'' hip hop doesn't exist, or least not outside your head. The gatekeeping old-heads just can't handle the unavoidable evolution of hip hop, mostly because of nostalgia I guess.

And yeah, you should definitely check out Griselda Records' roster. Just listen to Benny The Butcher's ''The Plugs I Met'' and you will get why. Shit is amazing, and they're growing fast as fuck. They already caught the attention of big rappers like Jay Z or Eminem (Em even gave them a Shady Records deal).
