I don't care about LGBT rights

Perhaps, but you have to substantiate that better than you did in this post.

I could give 2 shits about how much I "substantiate" gays not having the right to marry.

I would say it's preferable but not necessary

It is necessary. Fatherlessness is responsible for higher rates of depression & suicide, higher drop out rates, higher rates of mental illness, higher rates of drug abuse, etc.

the State under such a system would still care enough about us to restrict us from those things.

I don't care

Holding hands in public, kissing one another on the cheek, hugging one another, etc

None of this should be done in public by homosexuals (except maybe hugging). Not in front of children at least.

Are you playing Devil's Advocate, or are you contradicting yourself when you said "It is stupid to take pride in/base your entire identity on who you fuck."?

The difference here is that it is family-oriented. Families are the basis of a society. I still think it is stupid to solely identify as who you fuck, but family values should be praised, celebrated, and glorified.

Most broken homes today occur from heterosexual parents (disproportionately, in the US, among Black and Hispanic couples).

I agree. But you will rarely ever come across a homosexual who didn't come from a broken home or doesn't have any mental problems.
