We don't deserve Brie Larson

I genuinely just want a good person to play a part with a good character, in my own opinion, Captain Marvel isn’t a great character (been rebooted multiple times) even though she may be powerful the fact that she can “beat up Thor” doesn’t make her a good character. I want someone with an interesting story, something which I would gladly look into if the character was interesting regardless of their gender, I don’t even think about it when I’m trying to concern someone as a good character. The film was okay at best and as an actress, she did great. I just don’t get why everyone is making a big deal about this, this is what super heroes do, regardless of their gender. I fully support this type of action from RDJ to Brie Larson and the rest of the cast, but I want them to fully inspire kids for their future and continue making this world a better place than when they will leave it and I hope everyone is a better person as a result of it.

It just seems like she’s being praised for a decent human interaction because of the backlash to Captain Marvel, if it were a different character, no one would care (certainly not as much) I just wish that this type of behaviour was as publicised as this, regardless of gender or any other external factors, let us rejoice in the fact that people do this for the benefit of others and not because people tried to boycott the film or because Brie Larson wanted a bigger diversity in terms of reviews, the biggest minds we can shape are the kids and while I may not agree with everything that B.L. advocates I fully appreciate the fact that she can empower younger people and that’s the best thing to take from this.
