I think the issue is that there are very real problems unique to men that really don't get a lot of attention in any mainstream way. Unfortunately a lot of people use this fact as a weapon against feminism rather then a valid topic that needs to be discussed alongside other issues.

Personally I think a lot of problems stem from the idea that it's women vs. men rather then non shitty people vs shitty people. This leads to people thinking that in order to "win" you need to defeat the other side, with that other side being people that would probably really be on your side.
