I don't feel like I want to associate myself with Christianity anymore

We are more concerned for our safety from terrorists then for the refugees fleeing from living hell. We are more concerned for gaining wealth then for the environment and well being of animals. We are more concerned about NFL players kneeling then we are about the systemic racism that still exists in our country. We are more concerned about our tax dollars being given to welfare then we are about the plight of the poor and the homeless. We are more concerned about immigrants coming into our country illegally than if people are actually being treated like they are human beings. We are more concerned about baking a cake for a gay wedding then for loving gays as Christ does. We are more concerned about people facing retributive justice rather than them finding mercy and rehabilitation.

You don't speak for the American Christians I know, and you certainly don't speak for me. Stop saying "we" as if you have the right to speak for us. Maybe the pride and arrogance which assumes you have that right is the same reason why you see things the way you do.

For example, you claim to care about the environment. Well, as Earth Day Founder Gaylord Nelson said: to say you're for mass immigration to the USA AND for protecting it's ecosystems is bullshit. You can't be for both. It just can't be done. Besides, immigration is not a solution to the world's humanitarian problems. Go look up Immigration Gumballs on YouTube to see why. It's a matter of numbers.

Maybe stop bloviating about others and take a look in the mirror. When your Big Problem is that you're so much more righteous than the Filthy Sinners around you then that right there is The Problem
