Dont forget to thank those in the food processing industry working around the clock as well!

Let me try to spell this out for you.

There are those who can voluntarily risk their health (meaning, there's no financial imperative for them to continue putting themselves at risk), there are those who no longer have a job, and then there are those that have a job but can't voluntarily put themselves at risk. They can't voluntarily put themselves at risk because they do not have the means to care for themselves or their loved ones if they were to get sick. However, they also can't afford to sustain themselves or their families without continuing to work (for what is probably close to minium wage with no benefits).

Does this make more sense to you know? The doctor making $250,000 a year with every safety net imaginable is a hero, yes. But, right now, so is the poor dude forced to work minimum wage because he's not financially in a place to decide if this is a risk he's willing or able to take. For the doctor, the choice is a privilege. For this guy, the choice is a necessity.

So yeah, the audacity. The audacity to continue showing up to a paid job all the while knowing you're risking your health and the health of your loved ones because you can literally do nothing else.

Grow up.
