I don't think j-hope should have ever debuted with BTS.

considering the success of chicken noodle soup, i agree with your point that he could be a successful solo act, maybe even in the west? he’s not my bias but i tend to gravitate towards his solo work too, he really stands his own against rm and yoongi who’ve both been making music for so long

i do disagree that he shouldn’t have debuted with bts — he’s always mentioned gratitude towards rm and yoongi for helping him with music and the moral support of bts as a whole in getting through the tough process of debuting — i’m not trying to downplay his talents at all, but i think having the music/moral support from being in bts played a huge part in being able to develop himself as an artist
