Don't judge a book by it's cover, but the theme or the central idea can be judged.

Eh, I’ve always been iffy with the whole “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” so I just decided that first impressions based upon various factors whether they be how someone dresses or how they act, etc is alright, but assuming serious things about someone based those first impressions are not alright. I.e. “He looks like a drug dealer” “he looks like he supports X political candidate” “he looks like a psychopath” shit like that I think is uncool.

One time my dog ran away and I was walking around my neighborhood looking for her and these big guys cross the street with my dog and they tell me they found her. At first glance these guys looked straight out of East-side detroit, if I saw these motherfuckers in a drug deal I would book it, and this isn’t a race thing by the way, they were both white. I know someone might be like “oh yeah I bet they were black and that’s why you thought that huh”

Anyway they found my dog and they were very sweet, and that’s pretty much how my little “philosophy” here got it’s start.
