I feel like it rewards more skill.

I feel the exact opposite. The one who gets spotted first goes down every time. It's now unsatisfying to die and to get kills, as when you get killed you know there's very little you could've done about it, and when you get a kill you know it's not because you were better, but because you happened to see them first. If I'm expected to tiptoe around every corner and scan every doorway before going through, it kind of ruins the fast paced gameplay I, and I'm guessing most others, play Apex for.

And there's no more decision making required. Now all you have to decide is which sniper you're gonna use, and which house you're gonna camp in. What incentive do I now have to play anyone but Caustic, Wattson or Rampart? Very little is the answer to that question.

Also how is 3rd partying now more dangerous? Now when you get there they're basically all one shot. Just shoot them with a triple take. Throw an amp wall into the mix and it's kind of impressive if you somehow manage to die.
