Just wanted to post to say I hear you and, for the most part, share your pessimism. I applaud and support the optimists (and the pessimists that continue to fight) as well as recognize the somewhat regular wins, but I just sort of lost that will to continue the fight.

I'm not sure if it's helpful, but I sort of took this as a game to beat. I had tons of fun trying to beat the system. I see you're a gamer. Perhaps treat this as a stealth game and you sort of know the surveillance system's cone of vision. Take measures to avoid that. It is actually quite fun and you learn many new skills. Though, you may get sick of it after a while, it's still worth the effort.
