I don't love my new puppy. I feel like I don't want her. And the guilt for that is eating me alive.

u/kaleboy14 If you get a response you don't like, you are not obligated to respond to it. Sure you're venting but that does not permit you to lash out at other people. If the response you got violates our rules, report it to our mod team and let us handle it.

u/Skizz_rP I personally don't agree with your perspective here, but I think we're at a point where if you continue to push, you're not helping at this point but hurting. Honesty is important, but being brutal about it isn't helpful. Questioning someone's maturity - especially someone who has disclosed that they have mental health issues they're currently working on... not offering actionable suggestions on how to address some of the challenges they're coming here to talk about... Can you be surprised that they would be defensive in response?

So - time for you both to walk away from this discussion.
