I don't miss 9/12

I agree with you. 9/11 felt like a pivotal turning point in both culture and politics. Americans on a large level we're legit afraid for the first time in a long time. I don't think so many people were glued to the news like that since 9/11. Everything just stopped. Classes and work was interrupted. And everyone was staring at the news.

So many people still don't know about the Rwanda situation and other situations they mentioned. But absolutely everyone who was alive knew about 9/11.

It affected the average American more personally than one off crazy people or horrible things taking place in other countries like this guy brought up.

America's reputation also started changing. The dollar declined quickly.

Now while I agree things from previous generations were likely even more impactful, I'm just talking about what many people from today can actually remember.
