Why Don't More Men Get Vasectomies?

One of my favorite things about my husband, haaa.. his insurance did cover it so that obviously helped. He said the doctors were really, really emphatic that it would not be reversible, which.. was kinda the whole point for him, but I could see other people asking for it to be undone after a few years because they or their partner want kids all the sudden.

Anyway, other than normal concerns about surgical procedures, I imagine it's a mixture of financial reasons and sentimentality/breeder logic/societal pressure to pass on their super amazing unique superior DNA and family name at some point. The usual. I wish it were more common though, especially guys who insist they never want kids but somehow think it's logical to put the onus on women to prevent that from happening.
