'We Don't Need a Climate Denier on the Supreme Court': Outrage as Barrett Says She Has No 'Firm Views' on Climate Crisis

I agree with this. Though, many justices have views on various things, we actually want justices that are as impartial as possible when a bill comes to them to vote on. An impartial justice will allow reason to guide the conversation, and an impartial justice will not be budged by the political arena on the sidelines. It’s the one aspect of our current system which seeks to be as non-politically motivated as possible.

You can also be an environmentalist like myself and be fine with a Justice’s lack of position on something, especially if they’re a person of reason and haven’t taken the time to study a subject on their own (though, climate change and etc. is, at this point, fairly obvious).
