Don't people see that after natural disasters, anarchism and communism are their first line of aid?

Mutual aid has always been the driving force that keep the community going and not through government. Where the state abandoned, mutual aid picks up steam. Not only for disaster but you can also look to Covid-19 and harm reduction work. I'd even believe that mutual aid is the main stronghold of anarchist defense against state and capitalism.

In the early day of the pandemic I was on the verge of homelessness because of lay-off, couldn't let comrades know nor my family so I was basically pocket-empty for the food. Covid-19 Mutual aid group saved my life. All I did was posted on the Fedbook group asking for assistance and people answered with love. They shared whatever foods that they had. Later I ended up sharing back to help others when I found another job. This also inspired me to volunteer more at food bank after to help people in the pandemic.
