I dont really get the hate for Khezu

Khezu was made in a way to be hated. The grotesque form and creepy sounds are not likable traits to the average person, and so lends itself to being hated. The description of it in-game even calls it loathsome. In that way, I think Capcom made a really good job nailing the characteristics of Khezu.

What I think is less well designed is the fight. Khezu moves so slowly that the only attacks that are a threat are the electric aoe attacks, and tail spinning. As a result, the hunt becomes a slow, get-in-get-out fight which takes forever due to high hp and a lot of stalling with distress and jumping to ceilings. This I do dislike, especially as someone who first encountered MH3U's Gigginox, which is a much more wild and exciting battle.
