Our blessed redeemer, Jesus Christ, said in Matthew 7:14, "…the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.", which might worry you now, but listen to me closely: the way that leads to death is behind you. You might be lured off to one side, perhaps regularly, but no matter how far you've strayed, the Lord will come for you—Matthew 18:12—only true apostasy, or turning away, will lead to death.

Some walk quickly along the path, others slowly, but in the Kingdom of Heaven, many of the last will be first, so don't give up. (Matthew 20:1-16)
