I don't have a problem with people being trash at certain hero in qp and not willing to switch — that's what qp is, after all.
However, what it is not for, is trolling/throwing/afking and some other shit people do because "man its just qp". And no, in my point of view, even instalocking a torb is not a trolling/throwing/such. It's the Mei that constantly puts walls in front of our sniper (was Ana and literally got one in my face from across the map because our Mei thought it was hilarious), it's Genji that does one of those "let's play the game with wired banana peel for a controller" streams, it's Hanzo&Bastion premade spamming their dance emote in the corner until they're found and killed. I could go on...
My point being that you're welcome to play whoever you like in quckplay and cannot be blamed for not doing well with picked character, but please, for the love of god, don't straight-up throw the game just because there's no sp loss at stake. Some people just play qp because it's less toxic and easier on the nerves, but they still try to win the game, don't ruin it for them just because you're not willing to play normally at all :'( There's server browser for that.
I never really liked competitive because it forces you to play meta heroes and talk in the voice chat in order to increase the chances of winning. I only played season 2 before (because I was playing with my friend who's comp-only), the rest I just played 10 matches to get a graffiti (and I think I missed season 4 entirely just because I didn't feel like playing even 10 comp matches)... But I've put about 50 matches into Season 5 recently solely because of people actually willing to try and win the thing, because the second I suggested some tactical advice in quick play, I'd be bombarded with "dude its qp" for merely suggesting things like "let's combo our ults" or simple "regroup please" — I wasn't rude or toxic or flaming anyone. I simply tried to win in qp and people already complain about that.
So yeah, now I'm practicing my Sombra skills in low gold because at least no one's straight up throwing. Gosh, I needed to vent...
