I dont understand marriage

If a man leaves me he best not leave me when I have nothing! I want some of our shit!

And I should also not be able to leave HIM homeless without any money when he's having a hard time between jobs or something.

It's the same reason I'd make my friend sign a contract when lending money. It's not that i WANT to be chasing them for my money, but i live in a world where i might have to do that.

A man best not be able to up and leave when we've made agreements. Having those agreements on paper is a good thing. Maybe he made those agreements to 20 people, how do i know? But with marriage in the world i KNOW neither of us have, and if we have we both KNOW about it when we go into it.
