Why I Don't Vote (Yet)

Parties and candidates often change their stances on issues based on voter popularity. The Democratic party has come a long way since the election of Barack Obama in embracing more progressive values because their base has changed. TJ highlighted that the majority of the country backs these progressive policies. So why then do the establishment Democrats not embrace it themselves? Hillary Clinton only paid lip service to some social progressive values (and she changed her stance only because of the changing winds), but was not for universal health care, tuition free public college, legalization of marijuana or higher minimum wage. She was also interventionist to her core, and there's no doubt the military industrial complex would continue to benefit from her reign.

So why should any progressive vote for her?
